Recognition for Rob Dabrowski’s outstanding work for the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) and its membership media brand The Biomedical Scientist came at the 2023 Memcom Excellence Awards.
Accompanied by whoops of delight from the Redactive contingent present at London Hilton Bankside last week, he was named Editor of the Year in one of the evening’s most sought-after categories.
We almost expected Rob to burst into song (you’ll understand why if you’ve seen his unique rendition of the John Lennon classic ‘Imagine’ adapted with his own lyrics to celebrate Biomedical Science Day this year).
And no one was surprised when – true to his commitment to the client’s cause – immediately after receiving the trophy, Rob hot-footed it back up to Birmingham for the second day of the IBMS Congress.
Redactive also swept the board in the category for Best Magazine with more than 20,000 circulation. Coming up trumps was winner First Voice for the Federation of Small Businesses, while IOSH magazine for the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health walked away with Highly Commended.
Also Highly Commended in the Best Podcast category was the Federation of Small Businesses. Testament to Redactive’s skilled in-house capabilities in this ever-more popular digital media.
Congratulations to all our clients whose tremendous efforts were shortlisted this year.
