Salonfocus, the magazine for the National Hairdressers’ Federation and the National Beauty Federation, has re-launched today.
The publication has been brought back to life through a redesign, new content and feature strategy, and perfect binding. Redactive and the NHF/NBF worked together to produce a vision that future-proofed the organisation and delivered a valuable and engaging resource to members.
The first issue of the relaunch features ‘What to expect when they’re expecting’ as the main cover story, and advises small businesses on how to run a business and support their staff when they go on maternity leave.
New regular features include ‘The Cut’, ‘The Business’, ‘The Inspiration’ and ‘The End’, which maps the narrative of running a hair, beauty or barbering business. The publication offers practical advice, insightful industry updates, and light-hearted and inspirational stories.
The new masthead is strong and striking, and the design throughout is dynamic and bold; truly representing the colourful industry. The process that has led up to this point has been rewarding, challenging, but equally a fantastic and fun experience. We look forward to all future issues!
This email from Hilary Hall, Chief Executive of the NHF/NBF, says it all:
Hi
Wow, the magazines have just arrived in our office – they look stunning, such an unbelievable improvement from where we were! We can’t wait to hear what members think of it.
Thank you to all the Redactive team who worked on this, especially as we know the timescales were very tight
Hilary Hall
Chief Executive of the NHF/NBF
