With COVID-19 striking its virulent path across the world this year, to show your employees, colleagues, contractors and temporary workers that you care was never more important than in 2020. Creating a workplace offering a commitment to people and their careers in spite of the pandemic lockdown, the presence of psychological safety, making the most of available communications tools – those achievements are the mark of employers who invest in talent.
Now in their seventh year, Recruiter magazine’s Investing in Talent Awards have launched in July, and 2020 will no doubt represent a landmark year for these awards aimed at recognising the very best employers and individuals in recruitment. This year, entrants are encouraged to share their ‘tales from the front’ about how they and their teams fought against the myriad of business and personal challenges brought on by the pandemic – and won. In addition to the familiar categories of years past, several new awards have been incorporated to further recognise the COVID-19 champions who made a difference not only to their companies but to clients and their communities at the pandemic’s peak.
The Investing in Talent 2020 Awards will be presented at a gala lunch on 11 December at the Brewery in London. Entries will be accepted until 14 August.
