The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and Redactive today announced a new partnership to provide news, updates, insight, careers advice and job opportunities for safety and health’s largest professional community.
Redactive will collaborate with IOSH on the Chartered body’s member magazine, magazine website www.ioshmagazine.com, jobs site www.healthandsafety-jobs.co.uk and associated digital channels with effect from 12 August 2019 as part of a major programme by IOSH in 2019-20 to deliver new and improved support to its 47,000-strong membership.
IOSH Director of Professional Services Vanessa Harwood-Whitcher said: “As the largest membership organisation in health, safety and wellbeing, we remain committed to delivering publications that reflect the diversity of our membership, IOSH’s global coverage and our desire to advance and share knowledge.
“We are excited about this new partnership, which is a key part of IOSH’s wider transformation plan, to ensure that our membership services and learning pathways support the profession we serve.”
In consultation with IOSH members, the partnership will see a review of the magazine, jobs site and associated channels, leading to a fresh, improved multi-platform offer in 2020. IOSH Magazine is regularly identified by the professional body’s membership as one of the top member benefits.
Redactive Director Aaron Nicholls said: “IOSH and its members perform a vital function in the world of work. We are looking forward to bringing IOSH’s content to life across multiple channels to provide occupational safety and health professionals with information and inspiration that will help them to create healthier and safer workplaces.
“In doing so, we will champion the role that they perform and the positive and sustainable impact they make to business and society. All of us at Redactive are excited to see the plans that we are developing in partnership with IOSH come to fruition over the coming months.”
The collaboration supports IOSH’s five-year strategy, WORK 2022, which has the core aim of enhancing the safety and health profession.
Vanessa added: “Our members are central to everything we do, and our primary focus is to ensure they have all the support they need to advance their careers and perform to the best of their ability in their workplaces. This partnership with Redactive is just part of a series of initiatives this year to really enhance the support we give to our members.”
