Here at Redactive we are always keen to celebrate the brilliance of our staff – and today is no different. With 50% of our company being made up of women we wouldn’t be what we are today without the hard work and talent of our female contingent. Happy International Women’s Day 2018!
HOME GROWN
As a company we are always keen to develop talent and allow opportunities for progression. Two of our senior members of staff talk about how they have grown with the company:
Jo Marsh – Director
I joined the company 17 years ago as a Recruitment Sales Executive, as in my interview I was told we were a small company who thought and operated like a big company. To me that sounded like the best of both worlds and I took the job although I had three other offers on the table.
Redactive has given me so many opportunities and thrown me in at the deep end on a few occasions (luckily I’m a good swimmer) but with training, leadership, great colleagues, a lot of determination and oodles of passion I have always striven to do my best.
The company have been great at rewarding and developing me in return and I am always keen to help other people flourish in their careers here too.
Martha Harris – Digital Content and E-Communications Manager
I joined Redactive in 2014 as a Graduate Publishing Trainee, looking to get my foot in the door of the publishing world. Redactive gave me a great introduction to the industry, giving me the chance to work across all internal departments before moving into an editorial role on The Planner magazine (the membership magazine of the Royal Town Planning Institute). I now manage the digital content output across the entire Redactive portfolio, working collaboratively to facilitate our editorial communications.
Since I joined the company I have always been pushed to develop – to take ownership of my work and run with new ideas. It is an incredibly motivating way to work, and a great way to learn.
